Yes, You MUST “White Castle” Your Thanksgiving!
I love Thanksgiving. Here is one reason why:
A Bacon-Wrapped Turkey!
Yes, this Thanksgiving I will be taking my turkey to a new level, thanks to bacon! I will share the recipe at the end of this post, but what is even better than this Turkey is what I will be serving alongside it:
White Castle Slider Stuffing!
First of all: DO NOT CLICK AWAY YET! THIS IS NOT A JOKE!
This is a delicious recipe – and an award-winning recipe as well!
Yes, a recipe was developed that won awards, and White Castle jumped in to embrace it – for good reason!
Here is the recipe card that White Castle provides – it is so easy and so good!
This recipe won an award for White Castle – because it takes all of the best things you want in a stuffing – and gives them a “White Castle” shine!
Time To Get Stuffing!
The recipe for White Castle stuffing is easy: you begin by dicing up celery, and I add more onion and garlic as well…youj can add carrots and any other vegetables that you like, then chop them up – and yes, I use Cheeseburger sliders for a bit of extra goodness!
You can buy your White Castle sliders frozen, then just defrost them overnight and chop away! Then add the herbs listed on the recipe, or any others that you like in your stuffing, and bake it in the oven…it really tastes great! Give it a try, and from now on, your Thanksgiving cooking will always look like this!
Thanksgiving should always include one new menu item: one year we did Oyster stuffing, and one year we served a shaved Brussel Sprouts salad…always making the Thanksgiving table look a bit different….
Oh, and there is NO better way to make a turkey than this one:
The Maple-Glazed, Bacon-Wrapped Turkey!
Yes, this is my favorite way to make a Turkey: wrapped in bacon and maple glazed to give it an even more delicious flavor…and I want to thank my wordpress friend Osyth for adding this to my story:
“I believe that wrapping poultry in bacon is called barding – this therefore is a well barded bird!”
Bravo! See Osyth’s great website here:
